About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who is naturally organised, detail-driven and confident working with numbers in a fast-paced commercial environment. As a Finance Assistant, you will support the finance team across all day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and consistency across accounts, payments, bookings and reporting. This is a critical position within the business, helping to keep financial processes running smoothly while supporting growth and scale.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate records
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
- Coordinate and process supplier payments
- CRM, Data Entry & Record Keeping
- Update and maintain bookings accurately within the CRM system
- Ensure all financial information is processed efficiently and correctly
- Reconcile discrepancies between bookings and financial records
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting
- Bank Reconciliations
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve any differences between internal records and bank statements
- Financial Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Support audits and financial reviews by providing documentation and analysis
- Client & Operator Communication
- Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and operators via phone and email
- Handle financial queries, payment confirmations and documentation requests to a high standard
- Act as a reliable point of contact for finance-related matters while maintaining excellent service levels
- Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
- Handle correspondence, filing and document management
- Maintain organised and accessible financial records
- Compliance
- Support compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory submissions where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a finance, accounting or administrative role is advantageous
- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- CRM experience is beneficial but not essential
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
