About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally organised, detail-driven and confident working with numbers in a fast-paced commercial environment. As a Finance Assistant, you will support the finance team across all day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and consistency across accounts, payments, bookings and reporting. This is a critical position within the business, helping to keep financial processes running smoothly while supporting growth and scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
    • Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate records
    • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
    • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
    • Coordinate and process supplier payments
  • CRM, Data Entry & Record Keeping
    • Update and maintain bookings accurately within the CRM system
    • Ensure all financial information is processed efficiently and correctly
    • Reconcile discrepancies between bookings and financial records
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting
  • Bank Reconciliations
    • Perform regular bank reconciliations
    • Investigate and resolve any differences between internal records and bank statements
  • Financial Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
    • Support audits and financial reviews by providing documentation and analysis
  • Client & Operator Communication
    • Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and operators via phone and email
    • Handle financial queries, payment confirmations and documentation requests to a high standard
    • Act as a reliable point of contact for finance-related matters while maintaining excellent service levels
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide general administrative support to the finance team
    • Handle correspondence, filing and document management
    • Maintain organised and accessible financial records
  • Compliance
    • Support compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
    • Assist with tax filings and regulatory submissions where required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounting or administrative role is advantageous
  • Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • CRM experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
