We are expanding our operations and seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Scotland, covering the west–central region. This commercial role oversees the Scotland area and requires a confident, motivated professional with beverage sales experience and a practical background in On-trade operations. Under the supervision of our Scotland Sales Manager, we aim to cultivate new business within the Scotland On-Trade sector, focusing on engaging with medium to large hospitality groups, acquiring new clientele, and developing existing accounts. Our company is privately owned with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to success.

The Role:

With our diverse portfolio, Business Development Managers drive distribution and brand activation across the assigned territory, increasing market share and brand visibility for our brands. You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, alongside account management of a small account base, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies in bars, restaurants, hotels, and other on-premise venues. Your goal is to enhance visibility and sales performance of our brands while establishing a strong presence in the on-trade environment.

The Person:

  • Strong understanding of regional on-trade, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • PC literacy including PowerPoint, PDF, and Excel.
  • Experience of Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
