Role overview
We are looking for a commercially focused and collaborative individual to manage our Route to Market (RTM) strategies across the South region. You will play a key role in developing and delivering sales strategies that support long-term customer partnerships and sustainable growth within the on-trade channel.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-trade accounts to support long-term business partnerships and drive sustainable sales growth.
- Execute the on-trade sales strategy, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the on-trade sector, including expanding distribution and product visibility.
- Lead negotiations with key accounts, focusing on mutually beneficial terms including pricing, promotional activity, and placement.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Meet or exceed sales targets within your assigned territory, reporting performance and adapting plans where necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams—such as marketing, supply chain, and operations—to ensure alignment and effective execution of account initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account activity, and market dynamics, offering insights and recommendations to the On Trade RTM Controller.
About You:
- Commercial account management experience within the on-trade drinks sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proactive and results-driven, with a collaborative mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Comfortable building and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to identify areas for improvement and offer commercially viable, innovative solutions.
