We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic person to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will help gather, organise, and interpret datasets to support our marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the Brand, Sales, and Customer Marketing Teams, contributing to regular performance reports and identifying initial trends. Purpose
You will be proactive in helping to bring the voice of the consumer and customer to our team. In this role, you will assist the Sales and Marketing teams by using our data toolkit to uncover key trends and support business decisions. You will use your analytical skills to contribute to reports and presentations, helping to turn findings into a clear and compelling story that creates business value.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of Category, Brand, SKU, and Consumer data sets, primarily focused on the GB On-Trade (Pubs/Bars) and Off-Trade (Supermarkets/Convenience), with support for International Markets as needed.
- Generate and distribute reports, utilising data from a variety of sources.
- Support the annual brand planning process by reviewing the market, category, and competitor landscape relevant to specific brands and business focus areas.
- Fulfil ad-hoc requests by providing data and insightful analysis across a wide range of topics.
- Support the Product Development team by providing them with analysis of current market trends.
- Identify relevant category and consumer trends to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- Attend off-site customer meetings when necessary to present key data and market insights.
- Assist in managing relationships with a range of external data suppliers.
Key Requirements
- A proficient user of MS Office products (mainly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to manipulate large datasets into meaningful outputs, messages and actions
- Comfortable presenting data and insights to key stakeholders
- A strong attention to detail
- A flexible approach to working as deadlines can vary
- A highly organised self-starter, as there may be different projects to work on at the same time
