ROLE PURPOSE:

The Admissions Assistants provide administrative and operational support to the admissions team, ensuring smooth processing of applications, document management, and general assistance to the admissions process. Fluency in English and French are a must

ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Document Management: Assist in the organization, maintenance, and accurate tracking of admissions documents and records, ensuring they are readily accessible and up to date.
  • Applicant Correspondence: Communicate with applicants regarding document requirements, missing information, and application status, providing timely and helpful responses.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data related to admissions applications, processing, and applicant interactions within the department\’s systems.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to Admissions Officers and Senior Admissions Officers, including scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and assisting in administrative tasks.
  • Applicant Support: Offer assistance and information to applicants regarding the admissions process, requirements, and procedures, ensuring a positive applicant experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and contribute to departmental efficiency.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of admissions decisions, applicant communication, and document submissions.
