What You Will Do
The company has enjoyed consistent growth over the last 5 – 10 years and is now looking to strengthen its HR function to support the next phase of growth. As HR & PI Manager you will be responsible for the provision of a full HR service, including Recruitment, HR Systems, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Performance Management, Learning & Development, HR Administration & Employee Benefits.
We are looking for an experienced, preferably CIPD Level 5 qualified HR Professional who is either operating in a similar role or looking to step up from HR Advisor role.
As is usually the case in SMEs, this role will be relatively hands-on & operational but will face off to the leadership team and will require strategic thinking and input at times. This is a newly created opportunity working closely with the HR & People Investment Director and senior leadership team and will provide an opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual to play a pivotal role in the evolution of the organisation.
What Do You Need To Be Successful…
- HR Expertise: Generalist experience in fast-paced environments with strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Degree educated with CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
- Data & Analysis: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high accuracy in work.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; persuasive, diplomatic, and confident in engaging with employees at all levels. Be diplomatic, with good negotiation skills, tactful, and have the ability to deal with difficult situations.
- Organisation: Possess skills to effectively manage and prioritise workload. Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information in a professional and safe manner.
- Good IT skills, including an understanding of Microsoft packages.
- To have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year.
