Overview Job Description โ Marketing ManagerGlobal App Testing is seeking an ambitious and proactive Marketing Manager to join the team and take over our content and events channels which is directly aligned to our growth strategy. By helping to deliver content and events for Global App Testing, you will support the generation of pipeline from some of the biggest enterprise businesses in technology.Global App Testing is a B2B technology services business with clients including Apple, Google, OpenAi, and Meta. You\\\โll enter at a time where we\\\โre expanding our business and growing our budget. We have a lean, high-impact marketing team with a commercial team which is in growth. This role offers the opportunity to build and deliver marketing outputs that work for world-famous brands and clients, deliver impact, and work in a dynamic environment.What You\\\โll Be Doing Owning the events programme and calendar. Work with the Head of Marketing and our SDRs to coordinate the delivery of successful events which result in meetings and ultimately pipeline.External events; organize approximately 2 sponsored booths and 10-12 purchased tickets per year, includingResearch and management of the external events calendar; identify opportunities; communicate about event ticket opportunities and drive channel success proactivelyNegotiate with external vendors, secure tickets, meetings, and discountsWhere we sponsor, organize the sponsorship. Produce a brief, manage on-the-day operations, develop assets, ensure everything runs smoothly, identify obstacles, and maintain an organized dayWork with SDRs and AEs to secure meetings for ticketed events ahead of schedule. Optimize and refine the approach and follow up to drive success in the channelInternal events; organize approximately 10 networking events for clients and prospects over the yearAgree content with AEs according to our frameworkHandle operational particulars of events; book venues, speakers (where applicable), manage dietary requirements and consent processesLiaise on operational processes to ensure targeting and deliveryDeliver a content programme. With agencies, tools including LLMs, and personal production efforts, produce content to specification and ensure qualityDeliver a recursive news and newsletter content core with monthly themes, narratives, and talking points, underwritten by two pieces of core content per monthWork with SDRs to identify and reach out to targets for core content (e.g., interviews, surveys)Use external agencies where applicableExport core content to raw materials including social posts, emails, newsletters, and shorter blog postsBe ready to review content from outside of your streams to ensure it meets standards (leaflets, SEO content, etc.)Requirements The person we\\\โre imaginingThis role is fundamental to the marketing team. During ramping, you will learn to deliver a significant output in a low-touch way. To do this well, you\\\โll need to be practical, proactive, and understand the power of your role. We\\\โre looking for the following:Qualifications Essential3-5 years experience of B2B marketing, preferably in the technology sectorMust include evidence of previously managing large eventsMust include some content experience and examples of content you have producedPlease add an example of your writingNice-to-haveHubSpot, FigmaProduction expertise in videoExperience hosting and speakingNote that for this role, we\\\โll expect at least two days in the office per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, changing on some weeks).What kind of a person would this suit?
