Global Accounting Network is partnering exclusively with a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS business who are looking for an Interim FP&A Manager (6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension) to support a £100m ARR SaaS asset - looking to complete a strong growth journey through acquisitions led by a reputable mid-cap UK private equity fund.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of budgets, monthly forecasts (ARR/MRR), board packs, and investor reporting.
  • Own investment decision support, including building detailed business cases, calculating NPV, IRR, payback periods, and tracking actual performance against approved investment budgets.
  • Deep-dive into SaaS unit economics: CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC ratio, payback periods, gross margins, contribution margins, churn, cohort analysis, and Rule of 40 performance.
  • Support financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to provide actionable financial insights and commercial recommendations.
  • Develop financial models from scratch, including driver-based forecasting, scenario modelling, and long-range planning.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for real-time visibility of key metrics (CAC, retention, efficiency ratios, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within FP&A to support the next phase of growth and potential exit planning.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (Big 4 background strongly preferred).
  • Proven FP&A experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology business (multi-site / multi-entity experience also welcome).
  • Strong commercial experience in investment appraisal (NPV, IRR, ROI) and working directly with PE/investment teams.
  • Hands-on experience building complex financial models from scratch.
  • Excellent understanding of SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, ARR build, cohort analysis, etc.).
  • Power BI / dashboarding experience is a significant advantage.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills – confident presenting to both operational leaders and PE investors.
