We are supporting a leading organisation in the appointment of an experienced ERP Systems Analyst to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance systems professional who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, Technology and Business Operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, optimising and continuously improving the organisation's ERP environment, with a particular focus on finance and accounting processes.
The Role:
- You will act as a key link between the Finance and IT functions, ensuring that systems effectively support accurate financial reporting, efficient processes and ongoing business requirements.
- Providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for the ERP system and associated applications.
- Supporting and maintaining finance-related ERP modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.
- Testing and implementing system enhancements, upgrades and integrations.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring system accuracy and data integrity.
- Developing and maintaining reports and reporting tools.
- Working with users to understand business requirements and translate these into effective system solutions.
- Training end users and maintaining process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Liaising with third-party vendors and IT teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement and greater operational efficiency.
About You:
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as an ERP Systems Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or in a similar systems-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with a major ERP platform.
- Strong knowledge of core finance and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Experience with SQL or data querying for reporting and troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements and practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work across Finance, IT and wider business teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation and process optimisation.
