Global Accounting Network are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing global technology business who are looking for an interim Senior Statutory & Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting & Consolidation Director, this is a key role responsible for managing statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements across the organisation's finance function.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant
- Ideally Big 4 public accounting or audit firm experience
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and international accounting principles
- Experience in statutory reporting, audit processes, and technical accounting matters
- Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana and advanced Excel modelling skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead statutory reporting and year-end audits for UK entities
- Manage consolidated financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP
- Act as a key stakeholder in SAP finance transformation initiatives and cross-functional projects
- Strengthen internal controls and implement best practices across the finance function
- Drive process improvements across revenue, billing, inventories, fixed assets, and accounts payable
- Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Provide guidance to the finance team on technical accounting matters, process improvements, and system enhancements
- Liaise with global finance teams on accounting issues and monthly processing
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and support senior management with financial insights
