Senior FP&A Manager - Commercial FP&A
Contract: Initially 3-6 month
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays), with flexibility
Global Accounting Network are partnering with a global creative and communications client looking for an experienced interim Senior FP&A Manager / Commercial FP&A Manager to join the business on an initial 3-6 month contract, with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right person.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you'll take ownership of the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles , lead a team of four, and act as a key finance business partner to the Executive team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for driving the FP&A function and ensuring the business has clear, accurate and commercially relevant financial insight to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team of four within the FP&A function.
- Owning the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles from end to end.
- Taking ownership of the Planful forecasting system and supporting its continued development.
- Owning and developing Power BI reporting , ensuring stakeholders have clear and actionable commercial insight.
- Acting as a trusted business partner to the Executive team , providing analysis, challenge and insight.
- Understanding the key business drivers behind performance and translating financial data into meaningful commercial recommendations.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to drive planning and performance management.
- Helping to improve FP&A processes, systems and reporting as the business continues to evolve.
About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and quickly understand the commercial drivers of the business.
You'll ideally have experience in tech, SaaS and/or professional services , with a strong commercial FP&A background and the confidence to operate at Executive level.
You'll also bring:
- Strong FP&A, forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Proven experience managing and developing a team.
- Excellent commercial and business partnering skills.
- A highly analytical, driver-based approach to FP&A.
- Strong systems and data literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new technology.
- Strong Power Bi experience is a MUST
- Experience with Planful, Workday Adaptive, NetSuite would be beneficial.
