Credit & Billings Controller – Recruitment Sector
South London (Hybrid: 3 days in office) | Permanent | Competitive salary
Global Accounting Network is working with a PE-backed recruitment business specialising in IT staffing, with a strong focus on interim and contract recruitment. The business has a £35m turnover, supports 400 contractors across EMEA and 120 in the US, and is continuing to grow.
We are supporting them in their search for a Credit & Billings Controller . This is a key finance role responsible for managing debtor ledgers, billing processes, and collections activity to support strong cash flow and minimise financial risk.
Key responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
Generate accurate client invoices and allocate payments
Reconcile debtor and funding ledgers
Resolve billing queries and disputes
Set and review credit limits
Produce debtor reports and short-term cashflow forecasts
Support month-end and reporting processes
About you:
Recruitment sector credit control/billing experience
Strong AR, reconciliation, and collections knowledge
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Experience with finance systems and Excel
