Job Description

Global Accounting Network are partnering with a high growth, PE backed technology client, both organic growth and via acquisition. We are looking for an interim Group Finance Manager with a very strong transactional (AP & AR) finance background.

As the Group Finance Manager, this role reports into the Group Finance Director and will lead the Transactional Accounting Teams (Accounts Payable and Account Receivable) own the Banking and Treasury functions. The role will play a key role in managing the working capital for the group and support the business as it grows. The role will play a key role to automate the AP, AR and Banking functions.

AR/AP Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Accounts Payable and Receivable teams
  • Oversee supplier/customer onboarding, credit terms, and payment processes
  • Collaborate with internal billing and customer teams for accurate invoicing
  • Own invoice approval workflows, cash allocation, and staff expense management
  • Drive automation and KPI reporting across transactional finance

Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, including bank recs
  • Own intercompany invoicing, settlements, and reporting
  • Provide audit support and prepare aged debt/creditor reports and provisions
  • Improve systems, controls, and reporting accuracy

Treasury Management

  • Be the main point of contact for banking relationships
  • Produce and maintain cash flow forecasts (daily/weekly/rolling)
  • Optimize group cash and working capital usage
  • Deliver monthly working capital dashboards and KPI packs for senior leadership

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Proven Transactional finance background
  • Previous experience within a highly acquisitive business
  • Previous team management experience
