Global Accounting Network are partnering exclusively with an international sports & gaming client looking for an interim Head of Finance to run the day to day operation of the finance team including AP, AR & Payroll.
As the interim Head of Finance, this is a critical role within the business with a potential temp to perm opportunity. The business is going through a period of growth following recent M&A activity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial statutory reporting and management reporting for the group
- Continuously drive improvements in the financial systems, data, processes, policies, and controls
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and financial institutions
- Partner with the finance systems teams to identify areas for improvement whilst implementing Workday
- Manage the procurement & treasury functions
- Ad hoc finance tasks
Ideal Candidate:
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Previous experience running an international finance function
- Prior experience within the sports & gaming industry would be beneficial
- Workday experience would be advantageous
