Global Accounting Network are partnering exclusively with an international multi-site entertainment client who are looking for an interim Finance Analyst to join for an initial 6 month period. Potential temp to perm too.
As Finance Analyst, this role will play a key role in implementing performance management through robust reporting processes and systems. With exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to contribute to critical decision-making, this role offers a unique platform for professional growth and development. Working closely with the Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will deliver accurate and timely reporting, analysis, and support for planning activities.
Key Responsibilities- Consolidate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting across multiple international territories.
- Deliver individual territory monthly finance packs with insightful commentary and analysis on both financial and non-financial performance.
- Produce and optimise weekly performance KPI reports.
- Support the preparation of group board presentations, including territory board meetings.
- Assist in the delivery of in‑year forecasting and budgeting processes, including group consolidation for quarterly and annual forecasts.
- Create and implement automated templates and reporting structures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in the development and implementation of group-wide planning and reporting systems.
- Provide ad‑hoc reports, analysis, and support for other core group FP&A work streams as required.
- Part‑qualified or Fully qualified Accountant
- Experience in weekly and monthly reporting, analysis, and forecasting processes
- Ideally experience in the retail, leisure, or hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of complex Excel models with advanced‑level skills in development and redesign.
- Desirable: Experience working with systems such as Power BI, Agresso, Hyperion, or Cognos, including data loading and extraction.
- Effective communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
