We are working with a boutique wealth management firm based in the heart of London, known for tailored financial advice to high-net-worth individuals. The Sports, Media & Entertainment division specialises in working with some of the UKβs most prominent athletes, creatives, and public figures.
Role Overview:
This business is looking to hire a Financial Planner to join the Central London office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term client relationships, delivering holistic financial advice, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored financial planning advice across investments, pensions, tax planning, protection, and estate planning.
- Build and manage a portfolio of high-profile clients within the sports, media, and entertainment sectors.
- Understand the specific financial challenges faced by clients with irregular income patterns and complex earning structures.
- Collaborate closely with agents, accountants, legal advisers, and other third parties to deliver integrated wealth management solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, market trends, and investment strategies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and a high standard of ethical conduct.
Requirements:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum), with progression toward Chartered status preferred.
- Minimum 3β5 yearsβ experience in a client-facing financial planning or wealth management role.
- A strong network or proven experience working with clients in sports, media, or entertainment is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple high-touch client relationships.
- FCA-authorised and up to date with CPD requirements.
