Financial Accountant

We are currently partnering with a highly regarded international professional services organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. The Role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and supporting key control activities across the business. This position offers exposure to a wide range of financial responsibilities including reporting, audit support, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of key month-end and year-end accounting processes Prepare management accounts and support financial reporting activities Produce trial balances and financial statements for review and audit Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Manage intercompany reconciliations and resolve reconciling items Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Support external audit processes and provide required documentation Post monthly journals and assist with financial analysis Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen financial controls Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organisation Requirements: Proven experience in a financial accounting role Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong Excel and financial systems experience Confident communicator with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable driving process improvements The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global, forward-thinking organisation where you will gain exposure to complex financial operations and play a key role in improving financial processes within a supportive and collaborative finance team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
