Finance Transformation Director

We’re partnering with a leading global management consultancy that delivers high-impact finance advisory services to organisations with turnovers exceeding £1 billion. Specialising in finance transformation, leadership advisory, and process development, this firm works closely not only with CFOs and finance teams, but also with wider business stakeholders to drive lasting change.

This is a strategic, advisory-focused role — not a systems implementation position. You’ll bring deep expertise in FP&A, analytics, and finance operating models, and offer actionable insights on everything from shared service design to the latest in AI-driven finance capabilities. You\’ll also provide clients with market intelligence and comparative insight into what leading competitors are doing — and what they could be doing better.

Salary: £150,000–£180,000 + circa 20% Bonus + Benefits

Location: Fully Remote with Occasional (Expensed) Travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise senior stakeholders on high-level finance strategy, transformation, and analytics
• Contribute to and lead client engagements across finance transformation initiatives
• Work across multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring stakeholder alignment and project success
• Collaborate with an internal sales team to support pitches and business development
• Provide expert insights on finance operating models, AI in finance, shared services, and competitor benchmarks

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience at a top-tier consultancy (e.g., Big 4 or large-scale advisory firm)
• Strong track record in finance transformation and FP&A advisory work
• Adept at managing complex stakeholder relationships across large, matrixed organisations
• Comfortable leading high-level strategic discussions — not just technical delivery
• Experience working in global, cross-border environments; occasional international travel may be required (approx. once per quarter)
