Director of Banking & Finance

Global Accounting Network are partnered with a leading energy solutions provider who are committed to empowering their clients with innovative and sustainable energy strategies. They are looking for Finance Manager to join their team in Central London. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company\’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting. **Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the company\’s short-term and long-term goals – Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards – Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations to the leadership team to inform strategic decision-making – Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with operational objectives – Monitor and optimize the company\’s cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to maintain a strong financial position – Ensure the company\’s financial policies, procedures, and controls are effective and aligned with industry best practices – Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting – Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment To apply for this role you will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in IFRS 9 and IFRS 14 with experience in derivatives from with Energy or Financial Services companies.
