About the role

Global Accommodation Limited is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Letting Agent to oversee the lettings process and support the growth of its property portfolio.

This is a wide-ranging role covering all aspects of lettings, from preparing tenancy agreements and managing deposits to supporting tenants and landlords throughout a tenancy. You will also support a small team, generate new business and help deliver an excellent service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the lettings process, from marketing properties and arranging viewings through to tenant move-in.
• Prepare tenancy agreements and other lettings documentation.
• Manage tenant applications, referencing, deposits and rent payments.
• Monitor rent accounts and follow up on arrears, working professionally with tenants to resolve issues.
• Lead and support a small team, coordinating workloads and maintaining service standards.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and prospective clients.
• Generate new business and identify opportunities to expand the company’s lettings portfolio.
• Respond to enquiries and help resolve issues throughout the tenancy.
• Maintain accurate property, tenancy and customer records.
• Support the continued growth of the lettings department while ensuring customers receive a professional and reliable service.

• Good attention to detail when preparing agreements and managing records.

• Good computer skills, including email and data entry.
• A full UK driving licence would be an advantage.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification in property, lettings or estate agency would be an advantage.

Experience

• At least one year’s experience in lettings, estate agency or property management.
• Experience handling tenancy agreements, deposits, rent payments or arrears would be beneficial.
• Experience supporting or supervising a team and generating new business would be an advantage.
• Salary of £31,500–£33,500 per year.
• Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
