Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent / Drydock Manager to join GLO Marine and take responsibility for managing multiple drydock projects on behalf of our clients operating offshore support vessels. This is a client-facing, hands-on role, ideal for someone with a solid superintendency background and a strong understanding of the specific operational and technical demands within the offshore support vessel sector. As a key member of our delivery team, you will represent GLO Marine in planning, coordinating, and supervising drydock projects for OSVs. You will serve as the technical link between our clients and shipyards, ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all stages of drydock projects, from preparation to completion.
  • Act as technical representative for our clients during drydock execution.
  • Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and classification societies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to both GLO Marine and the client.
  • Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project.
  • Pre-docking inspections and supervision during dry-docking.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Background & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as Technical Superintendent, Vessel Manager, or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record managing drydock projects, specifically for offshore support vessels.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Comfortable working in shipyard environments and with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of surveyor processes and requirements, including interaction with classification societies and regulatory bodies.
  • Familiarity with project planning and management principles, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk identification.
  • Experience with building dry-docking specifications.
