GLL is looking for a Lead Instructor based at Stanborough Park Water Sports Centre in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Stanborough Park has been providing sailing since 1969 and is a Paddle UK and RYA Training Centre, offering courses and practice sessions to adults and children. You’ll join the Watersports Team in delivering these.
As an NGB Qualified Instructor, you’ll be required to run high quality watersports sessions, set up and pack down the equipment at the start and end of each day, ensuring the health and safety of staff and customers, guaranteeing the highest standards of service. Working with a team of Watersports Instructors on a daily basis means you’ll need to have a positive attitude. You’ll have a real passion for watersports and must hold either as minimum a RYA Dinghy Instructor certificate or Paddlesport Instructor. Flexibility, punctuality and reliability are just as important as integrity, a can-do attitude and a real focus on customer service. Passion and personality will stand you in good stead too.
