GLL is looking for Watersports Instructors based at Westminster Boating Base. Westminster Boating Base is a Royal Yachting Association training centre and Paddle UK delivery partner. We are looking for qualified instructors to join our professional and experienced team of instructors running sessions and courses in kayaking, canoeing, sailing and powerboating.
You’ll have a real passion for watersports and must hold one or more of the following:
- RYA Dinghy Instructor Certificate or higher
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
- Paddle UK Paddlesport Instructor or higher
On‑job training will be provided and there will be opportunities for skill development following successful hire. You will be required to teach high quality watersports sessions, set up and pack down the equipment at the start and end of each day, ensuring the health and safety of staff and customers, guaranteeing the highest standards of service.
When not teaching, you will be expected to perform a variety of roles including maintenance, cleaning, operational tasks and admin support. Flexibility, punctuality and reliability are just as important as integrity, a can‑do attitude and a real focus on customer service.
