As an Organisational Development (OD) Support Officer you will play a key role in delivering people change agendas that directly support our annual We Will strategy and wider corporate plan. As an OD support member of staff, you will support a variety of programmes that create real organisational impact from multi-skilling and EDI initiatives to apprenticeships and onboarding, communication and wider business-wide change. You will be an individual who thrives on designing and facilitating impactful interventions, supporting managers and staff teams through change and ensuring our people have clear, accessible routes to development and growth. The role blends strategy, creativity and hands-on delivery and support - perfect for someone who wants to make a difference.
What you will be doing:
- Build strong working relationships with managers and staff to support live people change initiatives.
- Deliver presentations, training sessions and development programmes aligned to organisational needs.
- Support all L&OD workstreams including management development, multi-skilling, induction programmes, TUPE and EDI workstreams.
- Work with internal stakeholders on OD design, restructures, intranet development and national change initiatives.
- Support with the design and facilitation of OD interventions that support organisational readiness and capability.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to understand the workforce voice and inform the design of initiatives.
- Represent GLL at external events, building connections with professional bodies and strategic partners.
- Influence workforce demographics, supporting diversity and representation across leadership.
- Engage proactively with KPIs and data to measure impact and return on investment for OD initiatives.

What you need:
- CIPD Level 3 (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience leading people change initiatives from concept to completion.
- Experience in supporting the design and facilitation of training and assessing impact.
- Experience in supporting OD design projects, restructures or people-focused change.
- Excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of EDI, apprenticeships, people KPIs or similar frameworks.
- Confident presenter with excellent written communication skills.
