GLL is looking for a Diving Coach to work at Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Diving Coach, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. This is more than a Diving Coach job; it's a career. We are seeking a talented and experienced Diving Coach to join our team.
As a Diving Coach, you will be responsible for providing safe and consistent diving lessons for all ages and abilities of pupils in line with the Tom Daley Diving Academy product guidance. The Diving Coach will deliver excellent diving lessons through the use of their knowledge of practices, progression, and coaching points, along with how these should be applied.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public generally by providing a welcoming, helpful, and professional poolside service.
- Comply with the commitments outlined in the ‘Customer Charter’, ensuring that standards are maintained as stipulated.
- Ensure the safety and control of the pupils within the diving lesson and enforce all relevant regulations applicable to the centre's operation.
- Actively encourage pupils to enrol in further courses and short courses.
- Assist with new enrolments and re-enrolments as required by the General Manager.
- Understand and follow the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure & Behaviour policy contained within the Swim School product.
- Record and complete relevant awards in line with expected standards, ensuring that the levels are obtained.
- Teach to the standard set within the product manual to ensure a consistent approach throughout all centres.
What you need:
- A minimum Level 1 certificate in Diving Coaching.
- Knowledge of Swim England’s Diving awards and British Diving Skills and Techniques.
- Knowledge of the Tom Daley Learn to Dive Pathway and Swim Ireland Diving awards.
