GLL is looking for an experienced People Advisor to join the People Team based in Manchester on a part time basis (24 hours per week). As a People Advisor you will be working as part of the fast paced and dynamic People Team, offering support to multiple locations across Manchester and will have the opportunity to expand on your current HR knowledge, qualifications and experience.
What you’ll do:
- Building effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Providing advice and guidance to support with a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure good practice
- Ensure compliance of relevant HR legislation
- Liaise with local management on HR issues and offer sensitive, confidential advice and support
- The role will cover all aspects of HR including recruitment and selection, attendance management, employee relations, recognition and reward, performance management and development
- Work closely with People Team to support delivering of key objectives
- Possess a sound understanding of internal development including organisational policies and practices
