As a Catering Supervisor, you will manage the café and the team to achieve its full potential. We’re looking for a Catering Supervisor who is hardworking, has excellent customer service skills, and good multi-tasking abilities.

What you’ll do:

* Manage a café offering a ‘grab and go’ offer of food and drinks

* Ensure all children’s party bookings run smoothly

* Oversee a small team of Catering Assistants

* Order food and drink and complete monthly stock check inventories.

* Ensure all stock is kept secure.

* Be a friendly and welcoming face to visitors and customers at the facility. Undertake the preparation, serving, and delivery of food and drinks.

* Participate in the production and service standards of the café, ensuring high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. Ensure compliance with food safety laws and maintain them.

* Comply with GLL and Hub policies. Actively contribute to the development of café service. Undertake card payments. Attend meetings/training and be part of the facility team.

* Provide excellent customer care and have good multi-tasking skills.

* Follow all Normal & Emergency Operating Procedures as well as adhering to relevant product manuals.

* Fully participate in and engage in training through centre-based training and ongoing assessment of performance.

What you need:

Good Leadership and Supervisory skills to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Provide excellent customer care and have good multi-tasking skills.

Follow all Normal & Emergency Operating Procedures as well as adhering to relevant product manuals.

Fully participate in and engage in training through centre-based training and ongoing assessment of performance.

The basics:

This is a permanent position offering 25 hours per week. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service; flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not possible in this role.
