GLL is looking for Lifeguards to work at Bodmin Leisure Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Lifeguard, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. As a Lifeguard, your passion for swimming and great customer service will shine through when supervising our customers in the pool, as well as supporting the team in keeping our centres clean and tidy.
What you need:
- A strong focus on customer service
- Passion and personality
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Be a great team player
- Ideally, you'll have your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with up-to-date training records. If not, NPLQ training can be provided, subject to passing a swim test.
What you'll do:
- Experience regular pool rotations
- Supervise and clean the pool area
- Set up equipment
- Deal with customer queries
- Support your team by preparing studios, gyms, or sports halls for activities and maintaining the centre's cleanliness when not poolside.
