GLL, the UK’s largest leisure provider and one of the first and largest leisure social enterprises, is looking for Gymnastics Coaches based at Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre, for our lessons and courses for children.
A Gymnastics Coach is a highly rewarding role. You need to be passionate about gymnastics and eager to share that passion with your pupils and colleagues. Our gymnastics coaches are versatile, with specializations in disciplines such as men’s and women’s artistic, rhythmic, trampoline, and acrobatic gymnastics.
As an experienced gymnastics coach, you’ll need to be qualified to Level 2 or 3. You’ll enjoy seeing others develop and will have the opportunity to lead and plan your courses and lessons, influencing their success and growth. Ensuring the lessons are enjoyable, you’ll be able to think creatively and adapt to the facilities around you, while keeping your pupils safe and engaged. Due to our size, there are ample coaching hours available, and as our courses expand, there will be further opportunities to develop your career with us. What you’ll do:
- Set up equipment
- Handle customer queries
- Teach high-quality gymnastics at various levels
- Deliver safe, fun, and progressive lessons
- Ensure safe coaching and support
- Complete registers and assessments using GLL tablets
- Assist with equipment setup and warm-up/cool-down routines
- Support assessment processes (award schemes and skills matrix)
- Provide parental feedback when required
