GLL is looking for an flexible Squash Coach to support the delivery of the squash programme at the several locations across Manchester. As a Squash Coach, you will be responsible for the delivery of junior squash, school squash and adult squash sessions. The programme will require high-quality coaching sessions to implement good practices, progression and teaching points.
What you need:
* Minimum England Squash Level 1 qualification.
* England Squash Enhanced DBS
* Good energy, positive attitude and an ability to interact with pupils to keep growing the squash programme
* Reliable, organised and punctual.
* Good understanding of the characteristics and qualities that pupils expect from coaching sessions.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and other legislation in relation to leisure centre operations.

What you’ll do:
* To provide safe and consistent coaching delivery for all ages and abilities of pupils.
* Report to the Head Squash Coach with your ideas to grow the squash programme.
* To ensure the safety and control of the pupils within the coaching session and to ensure that all relevant regulations applicable to the centres operation are enforced and complied with.
* To respond as required to the many different situations which will arise. This will involve teaching pupils of different ages and stages, as well as a range of levels and abilities.
* To actively encourage pupils to enrol on further courses and short courses.
* To assist with new-enrolments and re-enrolments as required by the General Manager.
* To ensure relevant administration procedures are completed including registers, lesson plans, Individual Record of Achievements and movement forms.
* To maintain and complete relevant certificates in line with England Squash qualifications.
* Update the Head Squash Coach on any CPD requirements.
* To teach to the standard set within the Brand to ensure a consistent approach throughout all the centres.
