GLL is looking for a Customer Service Advisor at Gateshead International Stadium. If you have a passion for people and the ability to deliver first-class customer service, this is your chance to be part of one of the largest leisure groups in the UK.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you\’ll enjoy making a difference to everyone who walks through our centres, whether through a warm welcome or by selling memberships to enhance their lifestyle.

Our Customer Service Advisors respond to enquiries, converting them into memberships. They are often the first point of contact for customers; you\’ll answer phones, handle transactions, deal with queries, and may participate in outreach projects. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times.

  • Good IT, literacy, numerical, and communication skills
  • Some experience of administration

What you’ll do:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Handle transactions including setting up direct debits and cash handling
  • Manage membership enquiries and sell memberships
  • Set up equipment
  • Support your team daily, from preparing studios, gyms, or sports halls to maintaining the centre\’s cleanliness and upkeep
