Internal Digital Software Account Manager
GLL’s Digital & Technology team is seeking an experienced Internal Digital Software Account Manager to oversee the relationship and operation of software applications across the organisation.
The candidate will manage software suppliers, ensure operational efficiency, support users, and drive continuous improvement of digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the estate of software applications, including supplier selection, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of suppliers, systems and relevant credentials.
- Manage relationships with software suppliers to guarantee optimal performance, support and product enhancements.
- Ensure all software applications run smoothly and efficiently, reducing duplications where possible.
- Provide support and training to end‑users, collaborating closely with the Service Desk.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations, ensuring high security standards.
- Identify opportunities for process and application improvement, driving innovation and efficiency.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing software applications or a related supplier/account management role.
- Proficiency in supplier/account management and familiarity with various Saa S platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve software‑related issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and project‑management skills for delivering roadmap items and initiatives.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferable.
- Employment Details
This is a full‑time permanent position. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with service needs; flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not possible.
