GLL is looking for a Stage crew to work at The Sands Centre. The Stage crew position at the Sands Centre is a vital and dynamic role that supports the successful delivery of a wide range of events. As a Stage crew at the Sands Centre, you will assist the technical team in the smooth running of the technical operation, with the opportunity to work on large scale theatre productions and live music shows while progressing your own knowledge and skills base with the support of the technical team.

What you'll do:

  • Assist the Technical manager and senior technicians on the delivery of live events, working on Load ins/outs and performing a wide variety of roles during shows including operating sound, lighting, stage crew and wardrobe.
  • Ensure exceptional customer/client experiences during all events by implementing proactive problem solving.
  • Maintain good communications with on site and external teams to assist with a smoothly ran event.
  • Maintain the health and safety of the venue and users by always adhering to the company's risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Work towards the common goal of providing arts and culture as an enrichment activity to customers, improving their mental health and well-being.
  • Undertake any other duties as deemed and directed by the Theatre Technical Manager or Senior Technicians.
