GLL is looking for Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teachers based at The Eltham Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher, there has never been a more exciting time to join us. As a Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher, your primary role will be to deliver excellent quality Baby & Pre-School swimming lessons in line with our product SWIMBiES. Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teachers deliver in the water for lessons, following the plans of the programme. Singing is a large part of the role, so you will need to be confident to sing in public. You will be the face of our baby lesson programme at centres, which means you will be expected to communicate effectively with all customers, as well as being welcoming, creating a safe, fun, and loving teaching environment.

What qualifications do I need to hold?

  • Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teachers must hold one of the following qualifications:
    • STA Level 2 Award in Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher
    • Swim England Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming
    • STA Level 3 Diploma in Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher

If the above qualification is not held but you hold a STA Level 2 Award or certificate qualification and you have a passion for delivering Baby & Pre-School swimming lessons, we will work with you to help develop your delivery experience. STA Level 2 Award in Baby and Pre-School must be completed within 6 months of taking on regular lessons.
