We’re a small but ambitious London-based startup on a mission to reinvent language learning through AI. Our flagship product is a mobile app that helps intermediate and advanced learners improve their English using cutting-edge AI technology.

We’re looking for an ambitious Brand Manager to take ownership of the Glite brand and help establish us as one of the world’s leading consumer AI brands in language learning. Working directly with the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll lead the development and execution of our brand strategy across multiple channels, ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects a consistent, distinctive and memorable brand. This is a full-time, office-based role located in Central London (Holborn).

Role Overview

As Brand Manager, you’ll be responsible for building, scaling and protecting the Glite brand across every customer touchpoint. Our ambition is to become one of the world’s leading English language learning brands, recognised for delivering a product that is genuinely innovative, AI-first and unlike anything else in the market. We don’t want to be another language learning app—we want to redefine what people expect from one.

This is a broad, hands-on role combining strategy, creativity and execution. You’ll own the development of our brand across multiple channels, ensuring every interaction with Glite reinforces our positioning as a premium, cutting-edge and category-defining product. You’ll work with external agencies, freelancers and internal stakeholders to launch new brand initiatives spanning social media, SEO, AI search, PR, partnerships, thought leadership and other awareness-driving activities. You’ll continually measure performance, identify new opportunities and evolve our brand strategy as we grow.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building brands from the ground up, is excited by working in a fast-moving startup, and wants to play a key role in creating one of the most recognised AI consumer brands in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Glite brand strategy, ensuring a consistent and distinctive brand across every customer touchpoint.
  • Identify, develop and launch innovative brand initiatives that increase brand awareness, build credibility, drive user acquisition, improve product conversion and support long-term business growth.
  • Lead the development and execution of brand initiatives across social media, SEO, AI Search, PR, partnerships, content marketing and thought leadership.
  • Own the Glite website and digital brand experience, continually improving messaging, positioning and user experience.
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers and partners to deliver high-quality brand campaigns and projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Design and Marketing to ensure every launch and customer interaction reinforces the Glite brand.
  • Measure brand performance against key KPIs, monitor competitors, identify growth opportunities and present strategic recommendations to the leadership team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Brand Marketing or Brand Management.
  • Proven experience building and growing consumer brands.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of modern digital marketing channels.
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers and external partners.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance creativity and performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and make things happen.
  • Experience working with consumer mobile apps or SaaS products.
  • Experience with AI Search Optimisation (AISO / GEO).
  • Experience managing PR agencies or media outreach.
  • Familiarity with SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush and Google Search Console.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney or Runway.
  • Experience working with creators, influencers or podcast production.
  • Interest in AI, education technology or language learning.

What We Offer
