Overview

Glite is a UK-based language learning startup on a mission to reinvent how people learn English through AI. Our app (still in development) helps learners go beyond textbooks and build real fluency using cutting-edge adaptive technology. We’re launching soon and looking for creative storytellers to help us spread the word through advertising and social media.

Responsibilities

• Produce videos independently from concept to final edit.
• Create 30–60 second videos for use across paid media channels (including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Be natural on camera with strong storytelling instincts and a clear understanding of what makes an engaging video.
• Comfortable on camera and excited to create highly engaging social media videos.
• Contribute as a freelance remote creator, receiving briefs from the marketing team and using your own equipment.
• Videos can be shot and edited from your own mobile phone or computer using any software you wish.
• As we are an English learning app, creators who speak languages such as Korean, Portuguese, Japanese, French, German, or Spanish are especially welcome.
• Glite will own all materials created in perpetuity.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce videos independently from concept to final edit
• Strong storytelling instincts
• Natural on camera, confident with clear understanding of what makes an engaging video
• Passion for social media trends and short-form content
• Proficiency with editing software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)
• Proactive and adaptable; you love testing new ideas and learning quickly
• Familiarity with AI creative tools (Canva AI, ChatGPT, Google Gemini etc.)
• Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies
• Interest in education, edtech, or language learning
• Basic design or motion graphics skills (e.g., adding captions, overlays, etc.)
