Overview
Academic Affairs Manager – Permanent contract / South West London. Hybrid working possible, subject to agreement with Campus Director / Management.

We are looking for a driven and experienced Academic Affairs Manager to join our academic team at the Glion London Campus. If you enjoy managing complex academic programmes, working collaboratively with students and faculty, and delivering meaningful impact, this could be your next exciting opportunity.
Your Role
- Oversee and manage the academic programme portfolio for Glion London, supporting strategic planning and continuous programme transformation.
- Act as the key liaison for MSc/BBA students, providing academic advising, monitoring progression, and enhancing the overall student experience.
- Lead London-based implementation of group-wide projects, including new academic systems and process-improvement initiatives.
- Ensure operational and academic excellence by coordinating programme logistics, assessment schedules, academic records, and key events.
- Uphold academic integrity through student surveys, data analysis, QAA compliance activities, and ongoing enhancement of academic standards.
- Manage the Registry function for the campus, overseeing progression panels, academic misconduct processes, appeals, and academic information systems.
- Support faculty development through peer reviews, course file management, internal training, and participation in academic committees.
- Organise and accompany students on professional excursions, boot camps, and field trips.
- Represent Glion London in cross-campus projects and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Sommet Education.
- Contribute to Open Days, summer programmes, staff-led initiatives, and other activities that support student engagement and campus culture.
About You
You will hold a master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Business Administration or a related field, and ideally a teaching qualification such as a PGCE. You bring significant experience within higher education, with a strong background in academic administration, programme management, and student-facing engagement. Your understanding of both UK and international higher education systems including QAA requirements. Well developed, and confident managing compliance, academic processes and complex datasets. You communicate clearly, think analytically, and work with strong organisational discipline, thriving in environments where you must manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You are comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with diverse teams, and you bring a proactive, multicultural and student-centred mindset to everything you do, supported by strong project management skills and a genuine passion for educational excellence.
