About Glint: Glint is an established fintech business with operations across the UK and USA. Through the Glint app and debit card, clients can buy, hold and spend physical gold in a modern, accessible way. With around 35 employees and ~$500 million in vaulted client assets, Glint combines real scale and credibility with a clear mission: to give gold everyday utility in a world of inflation, currency debasement and financial uncertainty.
Why This Role Matters: Content and social distribution are central to Glint’s growth strategy. This role will help build a scalable content engine that increases awareness, drives engagement and supports app downloads across the UK and US markets. It is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, develop quickly through direct coaching and play a visible role in shaping Glint’s social presence at an important stage of growth.
Role Overview: Glint is building a scalable marketing engine to support the company’s next phase of growth. We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Executive to help build a consistent, high-quality stream of engaging content across Glint’s social channels. The role will focus on creating social-first content, especially short-form video, designed to drive engagement and app downloads from UK and US audiences. This is a practical, fast-moving role for someone who enjoys creating content quickly, testing ideas and learning what resonates through real-time feedback. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and CEO, turning key themes, narratives and market commentary into relevant, platform-native content. The role is suited to someone with Social Media experience who is looking to develop quickly through direct coaching, close collaboration and daily exposure to senior leadership. Glint is developing a more structured, strategic approach to content across its channels. You will play a key role in helping bring that direction to life through a steady daily cadence of posts and a repeatable content engine that supports wider paid marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Produce a steady stream of high-quality, platform-native content across Glint’s social channels, including Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Build and maintain a daily cadence of posts across priority channels. Film and produce short-form video content using mobile devices and workflows. Edit content using tools such as CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut or similar. Create timely, relevant content aligned with an evolving messaging matrix, market developments and company priorities. Work with internal spokespeople to capture content, rather than being the main on-camera personality yourself. Collaborate with external creators and videographers we partner with. Test different formats, hooks, messages and narratives to identify what performs best.
- Social Channel Management & Community Engagement: Manage day-to-day activity across Glint’s social platforms. Schedule and publish content consistently across channels. Respond to comments and messages, helping foster interaction with Glint’s audience. Identify relevant conversations, trends and opportunities to increase visibility and engagement. Help maintain strong channel hygiene, consistency and responsiveness.
- Content Planning & Campaign Alignment: Work closely with the Head of Marketing to plan content around market events, news flow, campaigns and company objectives. Support wider marketing campaigns, launches and initiatives with social-first execution. Maintain a forward content pipeline and repeatable weekly production rhythm. Supply content and creative ideas suitable for paid amplification in partnership with the media agency.
- Performance & Learning: Monitor content performance across platforms to understand what resonates. Share practical insights and observations to help improve future content direction. Use performance feedback to refine creative choices, post rhythm and channel priorities.
- Creator & Partnership Support: Identify and support relationships with relevant creators. Contribute to partnerships that help extend reach and distribution.
- Compliance: Work with Compliance to ensure content aligns with relevant financial promotion rules and internal approval processes. Help ensure published content is accurate, balanced, compliant, on-brand and approved before going live. Ensure compliance training allocated is completed in line with monthly deadlines.
Experience:
Essential: Relevant social-first content creation, short-form video editing, filming content for digital platforms, understanding how content performs on social, managing social channels, producing content quickly & iterating, basic motion graphics or animation skills, such as captions, overlays & simple parallax effects, high-speed organisational skills.
Desirable: Fintech or regulated environment, US & UK marketing experience, passion for gold, markets, economics or personal finance.
