About the job
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse at our client's practice, you will play an integral part in providing exceptional care to a wide range of animals. Your responsibilities will include supporting the veterinary team with clinical and administrative tasks, assisting with surgeries, and helping to deliver outstanding patient care.
Hours: Flexible hours available (shifts between 8:30 am β 5:00 pm and 11:00 am β 7:30 pm)
Saturday Rotation: 1:5 Saturdays (8:30 am β 5:00 pm), with Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to animals across a variety of cases.
- Assist in surgeries and medical procedures.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate with pet owners and provide advice on pet care.
- Support the Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) during busy periods, particularly on Saturdays.
About You:
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is desirable.
- A passion for animal welfare and excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
