We’re seeking an experienced Locum Vet Surgeon to join a friendly and well-equipped small animal practice on an ongoing basis.
Start Date: Ongoing / ASAP start
Hours: 4 or 5 days per week
Weekends: 1 in 5 weekends (with Monday and Friday off the following week, rota dependent)
Out of Hours: None. Vets Now handle OOH from 9pm weekdays and 5pm weekends
Accommodation: Available if required
About the Role
You’ll be working within a supportive team of vets, nurses, and support staff in a busy but well-organised environment. The ideal candidate will be confident with both medical and surgical cases, capable of working independently while also being a team player.
Requirements
- Proven experience in small animal first‑opinion practice
- Competence in routine surgery and consultations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for ongoing work
