We are looking for an experienced and reliable Locum Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team in Watford. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional overnight care to our inpatients and handling any emergency cases that come through during the night shift. This is a great opportunity for an RVN who thrives in a night role and enjoys working in a calm yet dynamic environment.
Location: Watford
Start Date: 14th October
Duration: Ongoing
Shift Pattern: 1 in 3-week rotation
Shift Hours: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and care for inpatients during the night.
- Assist with emergency cases that arrive overnight.
- Administer medications and treatments as required.
- Ensure patient records are accurately maintained.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and prepare treatment areas for the next day.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure high-quality care and smooth shift handover.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
- Experience in emergency and critical care is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies with confidence.
