We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Slough, Berkshire. This ongoing position offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule, with no weekend work required. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, be a strong team player, and be able to deliver compassionate care to our patients.

Shifts: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to all patients, including pre and post-operative care.
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records for each patient.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Provide advice and support to pet owners, offering guidance on post-operative and general animal care.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse, currently registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Experience in a veterinary practice with strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy practice environment.
