GLG Vets is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Clinical Lead to join a thriving practice in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. This is a unique role, perfect for a veterinary professional ready to take on leadership responsibility while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with routine surgery and comfortable working occasional sole charge.
- The role is full-time, offering 40 hours per week, including every other Saturday morning.
- There are no Sundays or out-of-hours (OOH) duties, allowing you to focus on providing excellent care during your working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the clinical team, supported by a dedicated Head Nurse and Practice Manager.
- Perform routine surgeries and manage medical cases with confidence.
- Take on occasional sole charge responsibilities with the support of the team.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high standard of care.
- Help guide the practice through an exciting rebrand, contributing to its growth and development.
- Support the team in driving a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.

- A qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
- Confidence in routine surgeries and occasional sole charge work.
