As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will take the lead in providing exceptional care to our patients, working closely with a newly appointed Practice Manager, Head RVN, and a highly experienced nursing team. Your expertise will help drive the high standards of clinical care and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the veterinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
- Perform routine and complex surgeries and medical procedures
- Provide leadership and support to junior vets and nursing staff
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment within the practice
- Maintain and develop client relationships to ensure the continued success of the practice
Skills and Experience:
- RCVS registered veterinary surgeon
- Proven experience in a senior clinical role, with strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for veterinary care
- Ability to mentor and inspire colleagues, maintaining a positive and professional working environment
