About the job

Opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established veterinary practice in Wangford, Suffolk. This full-time role offers a great work-life balance with the flexibility to suit your personal and professional needs.

Salary: Dependent on experience, in the region of £30k pro rata

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday with one shift (10:30 AM - 7:15 PM); flexible hours to suit needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality veterinary nursing care in line with best practices and RCVS guidelines
  • Assisting in surgeries and procedures
  • Providing pre- and post-operative care
  • Monitoring patient progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Working closely with the veterinary team to provide excellent patient care and client service
  • Ensuring that the practice maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized environment

4 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays, increasing to 5 weeks with length of service

Supported and funded CPD (Continuing Professional Development)

Opportunity to earn extra income by joining the OOH (out-of-hours) day weekend team, with a rota of 1 in 5

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a passion for delivering exceptional care
  • Previous veterinary nursing experience, with a proactive approach to clinical practice
  • Excellent communication skills, both with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
