We are looking for a motivated and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Northampton, Northamptonshire on a temporary basis. This position is available from 14th October 2024 to 31st December 2024, with a five-day-per-week commitment. You will be responsible for providing consultations, performing surgeries, and delivering excellent patient care.

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Contract: Temporary (14/10/2024 to 31/12/2024)

Working Hours: 5 days per week

Shift Times: 08:00 - 19:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general consultations and routine surgeries for small animals.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
  • Effectively communicate with clients regarding treatment plans and aftercare.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.

Requirements

  • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
