We are looking for a motivated and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Northampton, Northamptonshire on a temporary basis. This position is available from 14th October 2024 to 31st December 2024, with a five-day-per-week commitment. You will be responsible for providing consultations, performing surgeries, and delivering excellent patient care.
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Contract: Temporary (14/10/2024 to 31/12/2024)
Working Hours: 5 days per week
Shift Times: 08:00 - 19:00
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general consultations and routine surgeries for small animals.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Effectively communicate with clients regarding treatment plans and aftercare.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
Requirements
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
