We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RVN – Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Luton, Bedfordshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Working Hours: The position is full time or part time, with only 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am-4pm. The lack of any OOH or Sunday work means that we are able to maintain a very healthy work/life balance.
Salary: £24000-28000
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
