This small animal practice near Wimbledon is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their exceptional team on a part-time basis. The practice has recently undergone a refurbishment and expansion, offering a modern and supportive environment for veterinary professionals.
The practice is led by their Partner and Clinical Director who places a strong emphasis on client care and is passionate about supporting her team in their professional development. She is open to encouraging and supporting additional certificates for staff members.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and collaborative team of 5 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 Practice Manager (who is also an additional RVN), 3 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 6 Receptionists. The team has diverse interests, including exotic animal medicine, ensuring a dynamic and stimulating environment.
We are looking for an experienced and self-sufficient vet who is confident with all routine consultations and surgeries and is comfortable with sole charge responsibilities. The role will involve mentoring two new graduates who joined the practice in September. The practice offers a generous CPD budget and is eager to support individual professional interests, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet to specialize in their chosen field, whether that’s medicine, surgery, or another area of expertise.
The position is part-time, with flexible hours to promote an excellent work-life balance. Some weekend work may be required, but there are no out-of-hours commitments, ensuring a healthy balance between work and personal life.
