We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Letchworth Garden City. This role is scheduled from 18th September 2024 to 11th December 2024, working 3 days a week, plus some Saturday cover as needed. You will be part of a supportive team, delivering highâquality care and treatment to small animals.

Start Date: 18th September 2024
End Date: 11th December 2024
Work Schedule: 3 days per week + some Saturday cover
Weekday Shifts:
- Thursday: 09:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday: 09:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday Shift: 09:00 AM - 1:00 PM (as required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations, diagnosis, and treatment of various small animal cases.
- Perform surgeries as required and provide postâoperative care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, delivering excellent customer service and patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure smooth practice operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Experience in both small animal medicine and surgery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and within a team.
Competitive daily rate, reflective of experience. Flexible schedule of 3 days per week plus some Saturday cover. Work in a supportive, wellâequipped environment.
